Physics feat. Lou Lou
Mad Love

This time Physics gives us a more vocal inspired tune together with their great vocalist Lou Lou . Her voice is so nice together with their typical detailed sound. The original mix is a laidback smooth production which gets more beefed up on the flip side were Markus Enochson puts his finger in the mixer.

Swedish duo Mikael Surdi and Toby Olsson return under their Physics guise to give us another quality piece of jazzified dance music with an added bit of 'Malmo Soul' thrown in for good measure. This'll be hard for the downtempo heads to resist as well due to the laid-back summer vibes and jazzy instrumentation throughout a track which is sure to set the more discerning clubs' dancefloors alight. Physics have already featured in these pages following the astounding success of their '7am Sessions' track that got a stunning rework from JASK, while Markus Enochson is the man given the responsibility of remixing this Swedish bombshell. Although it doesn't quite live up to the quality of JASK's effort, he does give the track an even more jazzier feel and adds quirky effects throughout, while the bassline is beefed up and your arse wiggles in a frenzy. Impressive stuff indeed. Deeplay have plenty lined up for the coming months and Physics are currently working on their debut album for a 2002 release. More singles from Surdi and Olsson are promised in the meantime, though, and that can only be a good thing. Invest, it's a gem. (Single of the week 5/5)

After Jask's wonderful reinterpretations of "7AM Sessions", Physics bring more gems, this time with help from esteemed vocalist, Lou Lou. The original is a beautiful slice of adorable deepness, with cool majestic keys, afrocentric percussion, warm understanding bass and affectionate vocal. Markus Enochson's version takes a funkier approach to proceedings, with perfect keys, a gorge jazz-funk guitar, a silky smooth bass and FXed vocals that drift in and out of consciousness.
